Results of Experiment

We investigated the effect of house color on the indoor and outdoor temperature of the house. In Tuesday's experiment (where the average air temperature was about 85 degrees F), we conducted experiments to determine if the color of the materials used in building designed mattered in how hot the building got. Here are the results for all six groups:

If you average the results for the six groups, here is what you get:

1.  What are some of your observations? Look at the graphs and come up with two observations with your team. Are there any differences between the houses? Between being in the shade or in the sun?

2. Come up with a hypothesis about this experiment. Your hypothesis should include the words “color”, “house”, “sun” and “shade”.

In a comment to this post or in your own separate post, report your hypothesis and supporting observations.

Observations: There is about a 10 degrees difference between full sun and full shade for the black house and for the white house there is about a 6 degrees difference.
Hypothesis: I think this is because the black house is still going to be hotter then the white even in the shade.

I found that it was hotter inside and out of the black house. And in the shade the black house was still hotter. It was about a 6-10 degrees difference.

hypothesis-The black house was hotter because black absorbs more heat weather in the shade or sun.

The black house was a lot hotter than the white house. On the graph the black house in the shade was about 85 degrees and the black house in the sun was about 100 degrees.
My hypothesis is that the black house absorbs more heat than the white house whether in the shade or sun.
